Promise Poem by Pratik Gawand

Promise is small word to say but it needs a lifetime to prove,
With a fragment of honesty and truth of groove.

Imagine a world full unfaithful promises and lies,
Who would even care to shed a tear when someone dies.

Unsaid words and untold stories conveys a lot,
One must understand those before things get hot.

People swear when situations are violent,
Oath is taken amongst people and Promise remains silent.

Pledge is a Promise that's made and,
Honesty is the best policy as it's heard and said.

If someone needs you to stay, stay back with a promise,
Try never break it untill the demise.
