Promise Me - Poem by Giovanna Marasco

If only you could learn
The lessons in my mind,
Without ever having to feel
The pain that burns within me,
Every single day.

I should have been more careful,
Always on my gaurd,
But now that I have lost it all
Please say
You wont lose yours.

Life's valuable lessons are painful to live out... sometimes we have to learn to live with the pain. Good write, Giovanna.
