Prophets Of Love... Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Prophets Of Love...

Prophets of love…

On plains, everywhere
-they replaced the armies
-of Greeks
-of Romans
-of Persians
-and Chinese
-and Mongols
-in their hands held blades
-in thousands, paralleled
-shoved their swords
-in belly of sky
-wore green
-tightly weaved
-on canvas an endless
-masterpiece of painting
-horizon on all sides and corners
-precious green grass of sunny spring

The rebel turned angel
-the Satan
-stole a brush and
-dipped it in solid paint
-of yellow
-stroke
-stroke
-stroke
-and green was covered
-not in all
-large spots
-with yellow flowers

Soon they will grow, die
-everywhere will be white
-dandelions

Will they take my message?

This is what I am told:
-"Dandelions act as do prophets,
-they carry heart's message;
-not of God."
