Proposal Night Poem by Dhanesh (trying to be) poet

It was going to be the evening of my lifetime,
I had gathered such courage manytime,
but fear of losing sight of her smile
forever stopped my eyes speaking all the time.

That day I made up my mind,
I got ready for answer of all kind,
not dreaming about good.. i was ready for the worst
because I just wanted to be on either side of line.
She went quiet when she heard me
eyes were puzzled and look was on me.
as I was the reason... for all that she felt then
for the light tears which seemed not for (but bcoz of) me.

God, I was just thinking myself, so selfish,
I was only thinking her as my love... she was my wish,
Not aware what she aspired... I just put on my words...
The relationship of us looked so trickish.

We have came so far together even after we strife,
now that we are not afraid for what comes in life,
let help each other to prevail today as tomorrow is unseen,
next day living path may be flowery or edge of knife.
