Proto Barbarism
When Barbarism was everywhere-
Their barbaric came after our own
Bought them for less than a song
Like the wild they sailed back home
And in stead ofhearty chorus out sea-
There weregroanings in fish cans
When did they rid their crudeness-
To dare refer to us as still those apes?
There are native disgruntled far west-
As there are,down east and elsewhere
