Poetic Thickness Poem by Wykeshia McCallister

Poetic Thickness

I may not be thin,

But I love my inner being.

I may not be the one to fantasize,

But I am the candy apple in the eyes.

I may be gaining a weight,

But I am what God create.

I may be gushy,

But I am fluffy.

I may be fat in the butt,

But I can rock my hips and strut.

I may be called 'Fat',

But I pictured myself wearing 'Baby Phat'.

I may not be a princess of a dream,

But I am a ghetto queen.

I may not be the one to be mesmerized,

But I’d be Queen-Sized.

Why should be bothered about me,

With my weight to please?

I am a Top Notch Glamour Chick,

And I am proud to be Thick! ! !
