Punishment

In search of a feed,
a party of Tupi
slinks through Amazon forest.
A single 'sai' is heard:
a monkey has entered a Tupi's eye
(ear or nose too, I suppose) .

'Sai' is 'monkey' in Tupi.
I'm thinking,
you could say 'sai'
to a recalcitrant kid,
instead of 'You're not getting dinner
for what you did.'
