I sought the road where shadows fade,
Beyond the dusk, beyond the dawn,
Where steadfast hearts are unafraid,
And weary souls press ever on.
Beneath the stars' unyielding glow,
The earth seemed vast, the journey slow,
Yet in my chest a fire did grow,
A flame that would not bow to sleep.
Though winds may tear and rivers rise,
And doubt may weave its cruel disguise,
I hold the thread, I will not fail,
For purpose whispers through it all.
Each step, though small, an echo finds,
Each tear, a balm to cleanse the mind.
What life denies, my heart shall earn—
To walk, to seek, to always yearn.
Let time's tides rage and mountains spurn,
I'll carve my way, and never turn,
Upon this road I travel.
