Putting Down A Bear Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Putting Down A Bear

Putting down a bear

Radio, media
Shout and shout
“Bear is seen in a yard.”

They declare with pride
“Black bear was put down.”

What if we, for minute
Change place; bear has gun.

Should bear go, out and shout
“I have put a man down? ”

They do not; they do not, they do not
They are what they are called, have no gun.

Human?
Be ashamed
You, gutless, a scared
Know not foe from friend
You, mindless, can’t see line.
