Can experience to obtain it,
Be acquired from listening?
Can learning lessons of life,
Be taught?
And not from experiencing them?
But people will watch TV and read.
To then believe they know it all.

Can life to live,
Avoiding mistakes made.
Without facing obstacles.
Or afraid to take risks.
And told to resist,
Challenges to dismiss them.
Will one day,
Open doors to possibilities.
With opportunities to recognize.

Who is it that has lived,
A reality to claim experienced?
And what was it they learned to teach?
Believing themselves,
Qualified to do successfully to prove!
Done to do,
Fearing threats and made scared to death...
By what they've heard.
Leaving those who teach unable to explain,
Where they had been taught...
How to experience a life to describe it.
Yet not to have experienced what they teach!
