Queen Of Roses Poem by Sharni M

Queen Of Roses

Rating: 5.0

Years have passed, many fears and pain have come and gone.
The kindom of shadows i once hid in has now become a palace of roses, Full of beauty and thorns coexisting as one.
The once dark hallways now decorated with memories,
The throne made of sorrow now glistens with hope,
Her gown sewn together with lies and insults now jaded with love and kindness,
Her crown once created by suicidal thoughts now shines with life.
The darkness and demons still linger but are now challanged by the light and happiness that was found. The two worlds coexsiting as one. The Queen of darkness, the old me, is now the Queen of roses. She who found good in the bad, She who lives as a rose, Beautiful and bright with painful thorns of the past. She continues to grow and open her petals, accepting her thorns.
She is the Queen of Roses

I'm amused at your age differences. Do you think we don't know who you are?
