Questions, No Answers

We are the poem writing apes,
Lock us up in a room forever
With pen and paper,
And we will write Shakespeare.

Shakespeare?
Forever?
What, where is the curtain
of Forever
that must be parted,
so Shakespeare will be written,

That is the noumenal thought
that cannot be noumenal
because it is thought.
And yet, it is noumenal.

But what is noumenal?
God provides us with the questions,
but we must provide the answers.

Richly and deeply done. Is not God, by nature, independant of the mind and therefore noumenal? The last two lines are my favorite. Many believe it is reversed, you ask He and He provides the answers. I like your premise better. Nicely done.
