Question Poem by Fred Babbin

Question

You, God
Who created me
and the universe
with a billion degrees
and two hundred
seventy-three,
the speed of light
and relativity,
- and poetry.

Where are we now?
Why our mad rush
to greet you?
Why do we sin
and then expect
a final exculpation?
Do you care?

This poem has two parts. The first stanza tells how the human being and the universe was created. It is important to note that Poetry was also an ingredient of the creation process, the Rhythm I would say. The second part of the poem consists of several questions relating to God and the man on earth, the aftermath of the creation........A good thought provoking write.
