As I hear the planes overhead,
I think of you leaving,
Going to a different country to surf on the sea,
But your still here,
Still on the ground,
Not leaving for a few more months.
It seems like yesterday,
When I first met you,
First said hello.
Little did I realise back then,
That we’d ever have come this far,
You backing me up when I was bullied,
Those girls so horrid and rude,
Made me realise that feeling I had for you,
Was more than just a friendship.
Sometimes you’re like a big brother to me,
Always joking or concerned.
But I can’t shake these visions,
The other emotions.
You’re a friend that I’ll have ‘til the day I die,
But I can’t imagine life without you
Still seeing us walking hand in hand.
I love you, but do you love me?
