Quick Forming Opinions Poem by Dallin Bruun

Quick Forming Opinions

I catch myself forming elaborate opinions
glancing at strangers walking to class

and maybe that's why nobody stares
unless they're a pervert
or they want to fight you
or you have ketchup on your face

which could be why babies can stare
and dogs
as if they lack the super computing capacity
to quickly formulate an opinion
