Quickly Obsolete Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Quickly Obsolete

A relevance,
To keep it kept relevant.
Is difficult today to maintain.
Once to perceive a relevance had,
Has sustainability.
Quickly obsolete it becomes.
The moment its replacement,
Arrives on the scene.
Prepared to be diminished.
By something even quicker to scrutinize.

"What is going on these days? "

-When and where did it happen?
And why did I not notice,
To be aware of whatever occurred.-
