Quick-Quick-Slow (I Need To Let You Know)
There are things
I need to tell you about
The very fast lizard
Butterflies in pairs
The little birds
Under the waterfall
Showering
Lucky the cat didn't see
Then smaller birds
Bathing
In the bath
Lucky the cat didn't see
She can be
Very fast
When she wants to
Quite speedy
Not as fast as the lizard
But equally as fast
As the birds
I feed them all well
Hoping to quell
Their natural desires
A little at least
As I try with my own
