Quicksand Poem by Braden Patton

Quicksand

And I stare into your eyes
with heart break carved into the skies.
Without a notion to second guess,
We’ll step into my room and then undress.
Revealing ourselves through physical heat
We’ll somehow find each other in the shameless sheets,
In this thrill we can truly become one,
Indeed, the friction of hips is so much fun.

In the quicksands of lust we meet,
The passion is so thick you can actually see
The air boiling to a hundred degrees
While we move and flow like the eager breeze.
Let' sink into bed
like quicksand
with these thoughts running through my head.
Let' give this night a secret meaning,
to bear the reminder of this heavy breathing.

And I stare into your eyes
With the intention to make you realize
How much we can truly be
When you talk on top of me.
Into the night our sighs will soar
Into our memory this night is stored.
With one last kiss I’ll leave you with this,
Just another beloved night for us to reminisce.
