Radhe Shyam Poem by Mahathi Mydavolu

Radhe Shyam

Behind the bamboo trees, He slow tiptoed
a minute ere! She's pulled by a silvery troll
of impish smirks and peurile jeers that flowed
through thorny recesses and touched her soul.

The moment next He's seen in Yamuna
as blue in blues floating along the waves
and lo He's there on top of Govardhana
a hover'ng nimbus like with chuckles naive.

Radha, a nugget melting with desire...
and Shyaam, the mystic fire of sacred joy!
Yet found behind a basil shrub her Sire;
Him tight she hugged from rear and whispered 'hi'!

With mead from lips anointed that Holy Con
and decked with Kumkum red. He lost...She won!
