Among the breakfast my wife made,
I have never liked anything better
than Ragi vermicelli ‘uppumaa’!
Ragi vermicelli available in packets,
A packet weighs one eighty grams,
It is sufficient for breakfast for two of us!
The contents of the packet is soaked
In two litres of water, sufficient salt added;
Keep it only for three minutes soaked!
Drain the water and keep the same
in the rice cake boiler; cook it with steam flame
for five minutes and then cool sometime!
Fry black gram, mustard seed, cut green chilly
and onion as required in frying pan lightly,
add in the frying pan entire cooked vermicelli!
You can add tomato pieces and lemon juice
to the taste! The Ragi vermicelli uppumaa, yes,
is ready to eat! Yummy! Yummy! It is so nice!
Quickly served and suitable for everybody!
This food can be eaten by anybody;
Young or old; good for diabetic lady!
