Rain Poem by Paul Schwabline

Rain

When it rains outside
The world comes alive
the plants, trees and
grass even the weeds
are smiling.

The sound is so peaceful
it can put you to sleep.
Or there can be thunder
and lighting it can be freightening.

Then it stops and all is well.
The birds start to sing
And the air smells so
fresh and clean.

Everything is so green
and all is right with
the world.
