Tears Poem by Paul Schwabline

It brings tears to my eyes.
When they took him away.
He made some bad choices
And now he has to pay.

He will do his time far away.
And we will not see him
everyday.

Tears are dripping on the
paper as I write this down.
Because for a while.
He won't be around.

We will miss him
while he is gone
But hope he has learned
a lesson for what he
has done wrong.

And when he is released
I hope he Decides to
take the right path.
This time.

And keeps the good
Lord by is side.
