A rain drop, innocent and pure,
Falls on me and I'm sure,
It brings to mind a beautiful evening,
A world within, a reflection revealing.
Like a shooting star, it slides and shines,
Bringing hope to drought and fear to light,
A beautiful sight, a moment's peace,
A smile, a tear, a heart that releases.
In the greenery of my lawn, it dances,
Life seems more charming, with vibrant prances,
A rainbow appears, an arc of reflection,
Oh, raindrop, you are the colours of my introspection.
Leading me to a beautiful cause,
A reason to live, to love, to pause,
In this world, where you are the hue,
A shade of something I own, pure and true...
