Rain Drops Poem by Margaret Young

Rain Drops

Drip, drop, drip, drop
Tapping at my window pane.
Falling, falling, falling
Never did it stop.

Drip, drop, drip, drop
Are those the tears,
Of our beloved ones?

Up above, all cloudy
And fairly dark.
Thunder clashing,
Lightning sparks.

Coming from the sky,
Quickly and calmly.
Seeping into the ground,
Wetting things that pass by.

Drip, drop, drip, drop
Lightly sprinkles
Tiny droplets,
Coming to a stop.
