Lilibeth Sacmar Apat

I’ve always enjoyed
Looking at rainbows
Though until now
It beats me why.

Maybe a rainbow
Is just too beautiful to miss
And we all know
It seldom comes by

Now is the first sunshine
After the downpour, the heavy storm
I walked under the drizzle
Wondering if it would make me sick a little

When I reached my room
Something pushed me to look up high
And there it was, the different colors
Always amazing, always making me sigh!

I looked at it a while longer
And realized I could capture in my cam
This lovely sight up above me
Something to look at, when memory fails me.

A rainbow is the hand of God waving
Assuring that all bad things don’t really last
We just need to be patient, need to wait a while
For the sunshine after the rain, the laughter after the pain
