Rainbows Poem by Destry Miller

Rainbows

It pours when it rains
These clouds of despair
Laughing at my pain
Like i should care
But I remember
When I see raindrops
That in cold September
On the cloudy tops
There are soft rainbows
Waiting there for me
I always, surely know
There is more than rain to see

Remember the rainbows when life seems at its darkest, when the black dog creeps behind you padding in your silent footsteps, when tears fall with no one to see them. You will be a great poet if you continue as you seem to be doing. Remember that there are others, like you, who think as you do, feel as you do, seek love as you do. Give you love to the world & the world will love you. God bless: D
