Raincloud Poem by Alexander Steen Stewart

Raincloud

She knows I want her lips on mine,
And I know that her heart is just,
A step away from love divine,
To capture her I think I must,
Allow her heart to come to me,
And see the beauty I can see,
That fills the world when we two touch,
Who knew a man could feel this much?
Yet she holds to another man,
Who treats her right but never can,
Match the passion that I can fan,
I know together we'd be good.
But this love can never be,
She loves this man who isn't me.
