Rains Poem by Raimi Babatunde

Rains

A Poem: Rains

Lost I was in ponderings
Disenchanted and discontented
How can I live leave before I live?
How do I give in abject penury

Once I questioned my existence
Doubted my realities clouded with uncertainties
Then I heard the still small voice
So small all I heard was PUSH

In P=Praying U=Until S=Something H=Happens
I asked not for gold, silver nor diamond
Far into the sky I looked and asked for dews
Suddenly YOU opened the heavens
You poured me rains and my life changed
