Poems are a way to show a poets emotion
It is also a way to show a poets devotion
They are released to write what they feel
Down on to the paper or in a news reel

This is how I show my love for you
Inside this heart of mine, swimming in a sea of blue
Riding through the currents
away to the other side

my love isn’t brittle and yet not very strong
I’m just getting to know you and everyone says it’s wrong
Love cant harm the weak, and cant fight the blind
But love will stand beside you and make you both feel strong in mind

So if your reading this, please know my love for you
Can withstand a thousand rainstorms
So I can be with you
