Skin Poem by nicole Davis

Skin

Rating: 5.0

Skin touching skin
Hearts beating within
Hands move slow
To her face where they go
Looking into the eyes
Of the one who you use to despise
Scared of what’s to come
She feels very dumb
Time stops dead
As they sit on his bed
He moves in
To kiss her soft skin
Eyes locked
All sound blocked
She looks at his face
Then her heart starts to race
Heads move in slow
He say’s no one will know
Lips start to lock
He is in shock
The feel of her skin
Makes him tremble within
She starts to fall
And knows not at all
Now she’s lying down
No one is around
Lips still touching
Hands still rubbing
The side of her face
In his head sex is not the case
Her hands feel his hair
But he doesn’t care
He moves down to her chin
His heart races within
Down the side of her neck
She hears a sound on the deck
Across her shoulder
She wants him to hold her
Down past her chest
He thinks she’s the best
She feels something new
Doesn’t know what to do
He’s back up to her face
Now her mind starts to race
He looks in her eyes
Then he gets butterflies
He smiles at her
Then the rest is a blur
Now all they can remember
Is how special it has been
To have skin on skin
And not just to win.
