Rainy Day
Walking in the rain
I stopped to gaze
into the puddle
reflecting a haze
Your face smiled back
beckoning mischief
sailing ships
rescuing ants
careless and free
giggling and goading
images of childhood
flashed before my eye
a tear escaped
the heart let out a sigh!
