Random Poem by Kimberly Wares

Random

We laugh like hyenas and snort like warthogs
We’re completely attached like bumps on logs

I do the guinea pig, she does the weezer
Were so close she’s basically my seester

Even though we’ve only known each other for three years
We’d need a novel to write all of our shenanigans

Days go in a haze when we go in a craze
The sun and the moon’s heads spin when we begin

Our in side jokes make their own jokes
Since we’re the opposite of slowpokes

You couldn’t keep up with us even if you tried
Your brain would end up sizzled and fried

When we meet up, we don’t say “hi” we say “scadoosh”
And when we play, we don’t say “wee” we say “whoosh”

We are sisters through and through
And with our randomness we’ll always stay true
