Randoms For Later Poem by Matt Trepanier

Randoms For Later

The life that is stagnant
Growth stunted in static form
A life that once held promise
Now curbing the expectations
of those who saw more.

A life without reason, memory or form
The feelings once grown
now stunted evermore
A life that is empty, without reason or rhyme
The actions once preformed now lost in time

The sight that was once held
Triumphant and high
Lies shattered and broken
By malevolent design

To twsist from the earth
What was never alive
A being without love
Whose soul has died

A cripple of life who lives in dispaire
the loss of a purpose leaving none to care
How their life had become
A living hell
they 'lived' as they were told
To follow the plan.
