Rantings Of A Priestess Poem by Violet Val

Rantings Of A Priestess

I humbly and gratefully present myself before you
Vulnerable with only a veil to cover my naked flesh
This flea which I sacrifice unto you
________

May it serve as a perfect vessel
I have gathered your children
They yearn to hear your word

By the power of the wind may your loving whisper be heard
May the heat of your lips be sensed by our fragile bodies to make us strong

Penetrate our hearts and minds

May we rise forged in your strength
that which is our birthright

My voice is your voice.

Divine serpent
Swallow me whole.
May I be no more
May I be anew

I present myself as sacrifice. Vulnerable unto you.
