I pray for slow sweet death
I pray when I join him in the afterlife

At the edge of this cliff

Rocking back and forth
Metronome
Back and forth

When I was younger they would tell me I had no clue as they nodded their heads from side to side
As I would skip on by yelling ''Viva la vida! The world is mine! '

Now I know what they referred to...

I'm playing with fire
I take a chance
Of being reborn, from my ashes like a Phoenix rise
Or Being engulfed, burned alive.

I humbly and gratefully present myself before you
Vulnerable with only a veil to cover my naked flesh
