Rape Of Diamonds Poem by Yashim George

Rape Of Diamonds

Twilight besetting
The angel its dreaming
Lost be the morning
The night that was shining

The noon is rising
The oceans are raging
With salt fermenting
Burst of your joy swelling

In the wake of morning
Your beauty becoming
Your heart with prying
Diamonds are bleeding
