Rapture, What Is It Poem by Eugenia Dubinova

Rapture, What Is It

Rating: 5.0

Rupture, what is it

I pledge my allegiance to the omnipotent force.
That in its love manifested life, that of a plant, then of me.
my hands tenderly touching heavens.

I am the omnipotent prince,
I rule over zero legions of spirits.
Drums loud, sounds unbearable, extreme lucidity.
I look at the water stream while standing on the concrete crescent.
Almighty shadows all above and all below.

But the ignorant sun,
will chase away the darkness,
slowly eating my immortality,
for my gods stay in the underworld
and that's where I love them to be my gods.

Omnipresent dog. No hearts, no feathers.

Another aesthetic beauty from your pen, dear poet Ms Dubinova. Striking images, often perturbing the reader's heartbeat.. like ‘ignorant sun' ‘omnipotent force' … Most of all "..gods (who) stay in the underworld and that's where I love them to be..'
