Razor Poem by Robert Sheridan

Razor

Sharp-as to spear the heart
or wound it so that it will
never heal...
Makes you a conscious or
unconscious being – smooth
tongued or forked...
Wit and wisdom or seat of
the edge nervousness to seek
and destroy...
Blade for smooth face or slash
hold wrong and it deeply cuts
so hard to mend...
Razor thin to make or break
truisms or fallacies but only
if you let it get rusty...
