I've known you but a few short weeks
And already you mean so much to me
I feel as if I've always known you
Always had you in my life
And now I see and know that it's true
I'll always need you by my side
I've known you just a few short weeks
And already you mean this much to me
You help me through life's little trials
And when I'm feeling all alone
You pick me up, with just a smile,
And put me back where I belong
I've known you only a few weeks
But still you mean so much to me
You know me better than I know myself
And understand my every pain
I placed my soul upon a shelf
And you have taken it down again
I've known you just these few short weeks
But you'll never know how much you mean
