Reaching Poem by Chenna Linda

Reaching

Rating: 3.9

Long Gone
I water my heart
Memories I Must Keep Fresh

As With Fighting The Wind
A Losing Battle Mine is

Your Warmth Fade With Each Setting Sun
Your Scent Washed Away With The Rains

Its Been A While
Since You Toured My Heart
I Weed Your Path

Tears Of Sadness Have I Made My Bed With
Sighs Of Pain Do I Breathe

The Iroko Tree Long Since Has Attained Its Height
Our Signal For Love Reunit

Fleeting Images Of Your Eyes
Dancing With My Mind

With A Child's Trust
I Hope For Your Return

There is a lot said, but there is also a lot not said. GW62

I water my heart - that it may be strong as the iroko and as tall and towering - Linda, and you will grow like the iroko- great!
