React, With Delay Poem by Kishore Kumar Das

Reaction is a dangerous word
especially for the 'mind'
our life surrounded by
unpleasant and evil encounters
making us 'reactionary'
giving birth to anger
with agitated body cells
unwanted quarrels
our reflex action
mostly like an arrow
to the destination
we commit mistakes
for arrogant conclusions
hasty decisions
we feel the other should change
but we don't stop reacting
that is the trauma of reaction....
'Delay' is the only trick
that can modify our reaction
it calms down the situation
it cools the mind
pacifies our nerves
listening improved
retrieves our wisdom
problem gets solved.
