Reading The Last Beautiful Poems Poem by Hebert Logerie

Reading The Last Beautiful Poems

Let me read the very last beautiful poems
Which are full of emotions and emblems
Let me pour my heart and guts out tonight
Let me let the fire and the smoke out
I don't want to be smothered or suffocated
‘Cause all words will be exposed and articulated
I will be smart and strong to be super-excited
And fired up like a brave soldier ready to battle
The enemies and the elements. Don't be baffled
Let me read the very last beautiful poems
Sit tight to listen to the birds perching on the barns
Use your imagination; use your wits or your creativity
To dream wherever you are on the hills or in the country.
