Reagan And Yemen Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Reagan And Yemen

Reagan and Yemen

The world talks,
Talk is loud
In the words,
Only sounds
"Why Yemen is at war? "

I told them: "Can reply, "
And waited, not allowed,
At the end, on my own
Decided to reveal.

That is since I was dog
Or maybe, a wolf, wild
And was forced to fly…

Studied if had time…

Yemen is too old to
See it in the Sana'a
As photo, single shot.

Send people of gentle
Picks, brushes, shovels
And dig deep in ground
To find what are too old,
Older than Pyramids
That exist in Egypt.

Those who live for too long
Wear and tear and grind
To face change all around
From words to wish, wants
And cultures, ways of life.

Differences cause fight…

The flames are normal
If bushes are gathered,
And collection piled
And tinder ignited.

But the wind and breeze
Can flame, aggravate
Spread this fire.

This is what I was in
Thanks to the Kremlin
And allied communists.

While they were on one side
Hidden were secrets of
The NATO (as if one)
Led by those in White House.

Yemen was nothing but
Smaller Vietnam
Burned and set on blood.

Though I was just a dog
Always said:
"Damn both sides…"

I flew Hercules
Carrying live and dead
And singers and dancers
To amuse the soldiers
Like those of USA…

Yes, I worked for US
And still feel ashamed…

If then were the Jordan and Iran
Now dogs are Saudis, Emirates…

I plea, as did then:
"Let alone these people,
Let them live by themselves
As they did for the years
That exceed the thousands."

But Reagan and Donald
And many of their kind
Arm the dogs with the guns
And the bombs and drones
Then go to podium
Bray, bark, very loud:
"We bettered our system,
Made money and have jobs."

Hide causing miseries, disasters! ! !
