Real Estate Poem by Cindy Christmas

Real Estate

I Wonder How Much He Paid For Me?

Because He Acts As If I Am His Property.

Sometimes I Want To Hit Him Upside The Head With A Plate,

Maybe Then He Would Realize That I'm Not Real Estate.

He Don't Want Me To Go Anywhere, All It Seems Like He Wants

Me To Do Is Stay In One Spot.

He Doesn't Even Tell Me Sweet Things Like, 'Baby, I Love You

A Lot.'

I Guess I'm An Asset Because All He Is Worried About Is My

Value.

Sometimes He Makes Me Want To Say, 'I Wish I'd Never Met

You.'

I Know That He Can Be A Great Spouse,

But He Needs To Realize That I Am A Woman And Not A

House.

But Since He Keeps Thinking That I'm Real Estate,

I Think It's Time That I Foreclose On Him And Find Another

Mate.
