Real Living (Roundabout Poetry) Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

Real Living (Roundabout Poetry)

A country girl I'd rather be
a simple life I seek,
the morning dew
sun shining through
a simple life I seek.

I like to see moss on a brick,
watch clouds on skies of blue,
hear birds singing
bees a-courting
watch clouds in skies of blue.

In early childhood there I knew
what's real joy in living,
nature's beauty
our family
that's real joy in living.

Today I'm just celebrating
that I can live so free,
with thanks I speak,
found what I seek
yes, I can live so free!
