Reasoned Out Of Prison Poem by Phillip Nine Mafunga

Reasoned Out Of Prison

I'm not the smartest
Neither am I the dumbest
I know stuff, plenty of stuff I mean
Yet I don't know quite a lot of stuff either

Well I think I'm handsome
And I know so; I don't care if you don't
Yea, you maybe contrary, its your right
Better make use of time, check the clock

To think of it, I prefer riches
But I then stumbled upon philosophy
Meanings and semantics glossed over the pursuit
Ultimately got reasoned out of material prison

Don't follow what I'm saying?
Never bother but watch what I follow
For power's derived from what you act out
The presence of the future is seeded thereof
