Blend several hours of caring
Through times of joy and strife
Fold in mounds of patience
Through each day of your life
Sift in grains of happiness
To fill up times of woe
And leave to simmer countless days
While watching children grow
Combine with warm and caring hands
A loyal, listening ear
Gel with the ability
To treasure those most dear
Fold in quarts of pride and joy
A photograph or two
Blend with scrapbook memories
And let them slowly brew
Stir in all ingredients
And seal them with a smile
Treasure memories in your heart
And make each day worthwhile
