Recollection Of A Campsite Excursion Poem by Kristy Artmann

Recollection Of A Campsite Excursion

Rating: 5.0

Darkened rummage for Katrina badgered timber.
Fire blazing upward til more wood is urged
Weiner roasted causality slipped into a chignon.
Burnt mallow on a metal stick joined
Chocolate oozed surprise on graham slabs.
Satisfying verbal exchange of existence and happenings.
Sweet kisses under moonlit starbrites
Innocent embraces throughout the night.
Pleasingly slept overnight in a sheltered hovel
Awaken with sniffles and shuffles from beefy mammals
Grazing the fields disturbed at their path’s obstruction.
Immediate stirring to retreat out of sight.
Continuous chatter about this frolicsome flight.
