Red Rose For Me Poem by Jayram Daya

Red Rose For Me

Tapping heals in a silent corridor
A musical melody so sweet
The lovely damsel tall in heels
Went bye when time stood still

While the sun and silence broke each day
Tapping heels were my symphony of love
A perfect union in loveliness
Inviting the twilight in my soul

Once a year I stood at the doorway
Waiting for the tapping heals
A red rose for you my lovely
Were the words of love I sang?

Suddenly the tapping heals were no more
Lost in silence, I found solitude my friend
I sent many messages with no response
Like the tapping heals she was gone

I vanished to find her in the silent thought
Tapping heels were my hearts rhyme
The Valentines invitation was so close
So I mislaid silence to find change

The last red rose waited to be dried in hope
Only for her and so had no more
Then I heard the tapping heels in the silent corridor
Past was memory now is real and future is sure

My head moved up at the door with the silence once more
She stood tall in red with a red rose for me
With hugs and kisses all came alive
Then walked the silent corridor in a loves melody
