Reflections - Poem by Marcel Tourdot

Looking back on the road that brought me here.
I must admit I have no regrets.
I’ve loved and lost and laughed and cried.
And by God’s grace alone I haven’t died.

Woke up in so many strange places.
And stared into the eyes of so many angry faces.
At times I had to ask myself did that really happen.
Had loved ones die and (along the way) I’ve lost a couple friends.
But every time they counted me out.
I found a way to get back up once again.
It may be madness and filled with pain.
But at least it’s an adventure every day.

I especially enjoyed the opening stanza, the next line i said about the same thing in a poem once. My poem 'reflections' is only two lines and no comparison to your poem.
I hope the poem is a persona and life is better than this for you.
